Nebulous Verbiage

We founded the aural initiative in 2003 as a means of getting our art, mostly sounding art, in to the public domain [ergo egoist?]. I say 'we', as we refer to ourselves - the personas who appear to inh[i][a]bit this single physical body - as a schizophrenic collective (note: we are not 'medically' schizophrenic - this is merely a cultural construct [imposed & composed]); meaning that by day, one of us wears the jacket of academia (we got into 'odd music' as a music technology student and now wander the lecture halls of academe surreptitiously converting unsuspecting students to the cult of 'odd music' production - we feel it can only be in their best interest [ergo egoist?]), whilst at night and particularly during moments of bohemianess Babaloo and his various minions tend to emerge (as would now the case be), an appearance usually resulting in some kind of art thing being produced, which is then disseminated via the appropriate persona...all of our art things are released through creative commons licenses on our website...we dig improvisation, experimentation, stream of consciousness, crazy, oddball, [oh enough], y'all know what we're talking about, sound & music, whatever gets inside yer hed and does stuff, be it whacked or intellectual [or both!]
